The new season is nearly upon us, with the first matches for all three teams over the weekend of 24/25 April. We have new captains at the helm of all three teams with some exciting new signings for the club it looks to be an exciting season.
Our pre-season nets at Halifax High School on Sunday evenings between 6.00pm and 8.00pm have been well attended and these continue until the weekend before the season starts, including Easter Sunday!
Outdoor senior nets will take place on Tuesday evenings and we hope to start these on Tuesday 6 April, snow permitting! Following training on 6th April, everyone is invited for a curry at Aakash in Cleckheaton….the largest Indian restaurant in the world (allegedly). It’s a great place and only costs £10 for a ‘eat as much as you like’ buffet. I’m sure we can work it so we don’t all have to take our cars. If you fancy it can you please let Rushy know so we have a rough idea of numbers and can book a table.

It is hoped that everyone will turn out for all three senior teams this season in club kit. Official club shirts are available from Richard Thorpe at £17.50. Club colours for sweaters are Red and Navy and can be purchased from most cricket wear retailers. A badge can be arranged at a later date if required.
New navy blue hoodies, at £15.50, have been ordered and extras will be available. We are looking at getting some match day polo shirts.
