Copley continued their pursuit of leaders Sowerby Bridge with a 9 wicket demolition of bottom side Mytholmroyd. Batting first, the hosts failed to make any kind of impression on the game and despite a couple of cameo performances in the middle order, they were bowled out for 138. Darren Park (5 for 49) and Dean Jackson (2 for 17) continuing their impressive recent form with the ball.
Copley were in no mood to let Mytholmroyd back into the game with an opening stand of 50 before Oliver Thorpe was bowled for 11. However, Darren Park (19 no) shared an unbeaten second wicket partnership of 89 with Mark Thristan who's 82 not out included 5 sixes and 10 fours as Copley cruised to an emphatic win in just 19 overs.
